President & Founder

Brian
Sehner
, founder and president of Sundance Outdoors, Inc. created
Sundance Outdoors, Inc. out of
his passion for the outdoors and working with youth around the
world. Brian has
spent several years working in sporting goods retail management
and numerous years working with youth in a variety of areas. His
love for the outdoors has taken him to the summit of over thirty
mountain peaks exceeding 14,000 feet, including Mount Rainier
(14,410') in Washington state and El Pico De Orizaba (18,855')
in Mexico. He has
spent four summers leading wilderness trips and working at
summer
camp
s across the western
United States
. Brian has led
kids and teens to mountain summits exceeding 14,000 ft., through
whitewater rapids on many rivers, across more than 1,000 miles
of cross-terrain cycling, and over countless miles of
backcountry hiking trails. Brian is the founder, and former trip
leader/owner of Pangaea Quest - Teen Adventure School, a
“Wall Street Journal” featured
camp
(April 19, 2002), where he spent two summers leading trips for
teens across the southwestern United States and Alaska. Brian
also spent three winters teaching skiing to kids in
Colorado
, worked as a river guide in
Colorado
and
Alaska
, worked with youth as a day
camp
counselor, taught hands-on science classes, and volunteered
for the Denver Audubon Society.
Brian's dedication to youth has also taken him to
war-torn Kosovo where, as an employee representing the
International Medical Corps, a humanitarian aide organization,
he envisioned and developed programs for Kosovar youth.
He hopes to one day start an adventure based non-profit program
for kids and teens funded primarily by his for-profit
endeavors. Brian looks forward to assisting kids,
teens, and families across the globe as they prepare to venture
out to summer
camp
and the great outdoors.
